Thank you for visiting ernielewis.com.  This resource contains useful information about the field of education, soccer, and the music industry.  I have been a technology instructor at a public school, Beardsley Junior High School, in Bakersfield, California, for the last 13 years.  I have also been involved in the music field, professionally, playing in bands, recording, teaching music, selling musical equipment, and writing songs, for over 25 years (go to YouTube for some of my YouTube tunes).  Currently, I am playing with Highway 65, a California-based Bluegrass band.

Throughout it all, my experiences in education, sports, and music have been great: I have made many friends.  This site provides viewers a quick peek into my life and shares with them the love I have for school, soccer, and music.  I hope that you enjoy your visit.

Rusty's Pizza Parlor Jam

A Bluegrass jam is held every first Monday of each month, beginning at 6:00 pm and ending at 9:00 pm at Rusty's Pizza Parlor in the Olive Drive Vons Shopping Center. This is a great jam that has a good turn out and most instruments are represented at each jam. Plus the pizza is good.

Dagney's Coffee Shop Jam

The Dagney's Jam is each Saturday from 2:00 pm until folks leave. It varies in size, but it a real treat to attend.
